Take an expert guided tour around the site of the Crystal Palace in the beautiful Grade II listed park.
We run the tours on the first Sunday of every month during the summer.
It is a wonderful atmosphere to learn all about the great Crystal Palace whilst walking by the remaining terrace walls and among the iconic sphinxes – which have the feeling of the ruins of a grand medieval castle.
Come and find out how the Crystal Palace came to the small hamlet of Penge. Hear the stories of how the world famous events (the fountain displays, fireworks, the great musical extravaganzas) thrilled and delighted where they actually happened. And learn how the site was finally destroyed in an epic night’s fire.
